Southeastern's Eltham page gives the address as Well Hall Road, Eltham, SE9 6SL. It lists services to London Victoria, Cannon Street and Charing Cross, Gravesend, Dartford and Woolwich Arsenal. The station is not fully step-free: Southeastern describes a degree of step-free access to both platforms, via moderate but long ramps from the booking hall. There are no lifts, and National Rail's Eltham page lists step-free access to all platforms via long or steep ramps.

It describes step-free access to Platform 1 from the main entrance and to Platform 2 by lift, but when we read the page it said all lifts were out of service, which left Platform 2 inaccessible, and named Sidcup and Mottingham as the nearest fully accessible stations. Southeastern's Mottingham page gives the address as Station Approach, off Court Road, SE9 4EW.
